Jouyssance finished out our 2018-19 Season with a brand new narrative program, exploring the stories of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales via sacred and secular early choral works. This post presents the program, notes and selected highlights from these concerts.

Welcome to All the Pleasures

On June 2 & 3, 2018 Jouyssance performed a selection of works by British composers, featuring a full performance of Purcell's Welcome to All the Pleasures with soloists and guest instrumentalists Los Angeles Baroque.  The evening also featured works by Gibbons, Weelkes, Tallis, Byrd and others.  This post contains some highlights from the concert, as well as the program and some notes on the concert.
